Guelph Lake

"Guelph Lake is the perfect day trip for anglers of all skill levels in Southern Ontario. Located roughly 90 minutes from Toronto and with plenty of access, Guelph Lake is an excellent choice for anyone seeking quality Pike and Bass fishing without the long travel times"                                   ~Dean Taylor (Founder of Subarctic Angling)

Species:

  • Smallmouth Bass
  • Largemouth Bass
  • Northern Pike
  • Bluegill

Tips:

"Bass in Guelph Lake see a lot of fishing pressure due to the accessibility of the lake.  Especially on clear and sunny days, these fish will often sit in heavy cover, primarily in weed beds along the shorelines. Finesse fishing is often the most successful method of drawing these spooky fish out of cover, with dropshot rigs, senkos, and flukes being most favoured" ~Dean Taylor

  • Northern Pike
  • Smallmouth Bass
  • Walleye
